What do you do & how long have you worked for the company?
I was brought into the company as Project Manager, to oversee all contracts & working with detailed costing targets to maximise profit within the business.
What are your responsibilities within the company?
My responsibilities are to manage a project throughout its entirety. Once an order has been received I am responsible for the final site survey, liaising with clients, producing manufacturing & installation drawings, ordering materials & equipment, arranging deliveries & transport, scheduling all installations from civil works to completion, all paperwork (risk assessments / method statements etc.) & everything else involved in the day-to day running of the Project Department.
How long have you worked in your industry?
I have worked within the this industry for over thirty years, having started in a manufacturing capacity before moving onto Project Co-ordination & Management in the last 12 years or so.
What is your particular expertise or specialism?
Throughout my career, the experience I have developed from covering all roles starting with manufacturing through to site installation & project management, I think my major strengths lie in organising all aspects of a contract, with real attention to detail. This ensures that everything runs as smoothly as possible & is completed within timescale / budget.
What qualifications do you have?
B-TEC Motor Vehicle Mechanics, City & Guilds Welding, occupational experience for Supervision & Management.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy site visits, meeting customers & take pleasure in delivering a high-quality contract from initial planning through to completion.
What hobbies or activities do you most enjoy outside work?
Snooker, golf, motor-cycling & motor racing.
