Vehicle Induction Loop Detection systems are an easy to install access control option, allowing free entry or exit (or both) where the loop cable is embedded in the roadway. Vehicle Loop Detection works on the principle of the change of inductance in the coil caused by a metallic object such as a vehicle, sending an open command signal to Automatic Gates and Barriers.
We normally install a Timer Clock to all of our Loop Detection systems which would isolate the function, probably when premises are closed and therefore retaining a level of security. The installations are adapted also to the type of vehicles passing through an entrance such as cars vans or even HGV’s.
