We offer three types of automation for Swing-Type Gates, a built-in hinge solution, an above-ground type or an underground option also.

The built-in solution, housing the control within the column is very neat, un-obtrusive and very popular commercially, whist the above-ground and underground options can also be considered, dependant on various elements such as opening angles, flooding areas etc.

The Swing Gate’s movement whether on a single or three phase supply, is monitored by an encoder. This allows for a precise and controlled operation that is robust and dependable.

Country Gates and Barriers offer a range of Automated Swing Gate Systems, hydraulic or electro-mechanical, dependant on exact requirements such as the amount of usage (i.e. average usage up to high intensity usage), as well as integrating a host of options to control the system, to tailor-make everything to suit exact requirements They include the following;

Voice/Video Intercom Access, Keypads, Proximity Cards, Token Acceptors, Traffic Lights, Vehicle Loop Detection, Remote Control Transmitters and much more.

Country Gates and Barriers are part of the DHF powered gate group and all of our Automated Gate installations comply with the following;

• Electro-Magnetic Compatibility Directive – 2014/30/EU
• CE marking regulations – BS EN 13241

In order to fully comply with all of the above, we install a number of safety devices to protect all users when being used. These include photocells, possibly even dual-height if required and Category 3 monitored live safety edges to all points of entrapment, all of which allows us to Force-Test the gate, CE mark and issue Handover Certification on completion.
